Explore MyTERA's key features

Industrial hygienists (IHs) are the ones who conduct exposure monitoring by using sophisticated equipment along with analytical methods to detect the extent of worker exposure to biological, chemical, ergonomic, physical and psychosocial health hazards. However, there is a shortage of IHs which is one of the main contributing factors for an increase in workplace illnesses.

To help with this Global Occupational Health problem, MyTERA™ was created.

Utilizes technology to tie everything together

Consolidating health hazards, tasks, processes, work conditions and environmental data into user-friendly Task Exposure Risk Assessments (TERAs) to provide control recommendations amidst resource constraints.

Consolidates all information into a shared resource center

Centralizing health hazards and their control recommendations in one repository streamlines accessibility, boosting efficiency and maximizing field time.

Helps companies with compliance

Aiding companies in achieving compliance with regulations like Hazard Communication, Personal Protective Equipment, and Respiratory Protection to prevent potential fines.

Characterize Health Hazards

MyTERA™ was created to provide a solution for every size of company, especially those that do not have the resources to protect their employees against occupational health hazards. With that in mind, MyTERA™ pricing is based on a module system of various hazards.

  • Chemical Hazards
  • Physical Hazards
  • Biological Hazards
  • Ergonomic Hazards
  • Psychosocial Hazards
Manage Health Hazards
Evaluate Health Hazards

Evaluate Health Hazards

Evaluation of occupational health hazards is achieved by comparing user information against defined parameters to determine a qualitative risk for the health hazard, the task, the work and environmental conditions which removes subjectivity and potential of misinterpretation in risk determination. Some of the following quantitative sampling data can also be linked to a specific TERA.

  • Personal and Workplace Air Monitoring
  • Sound Surveys and Noise Dosimetry
  • Biological Exposure Monitoring
  • Ergonomic Evaluations and Vibration Monitoring
  • Ionizing and Non-Ionizing Radiation Monitoring

Control Health Hazards

As information is populated into the MyTERA™ application, control recommendations will be generated saving time by not having to consult several resources. A color-coding system and a risk ranking number is given to allow the user to select the best option from any of the following hierarchy of controls as shown below.

  • Elimination (Removal of Hazard)
  • Substitution (Tasks, Chemicals)
  • Engineering (Ventilation)
  • Administrative (Time Restrictions)
  • PPE (Respirators, Clothing and Gloves)
